What size do I need?
"Rule of Thumb"
It seems the majority of our customers and quilters find that
adding 2-3"
to the length of your
quilt, tapestry or rug was the best length for a hanger.
The hanging area on
this hanger is the distance between the end brackets!
We sell our hangers in 2" increments.
Example 1: If your quilt is 45" wide, get a hanger that is
48"
Example 2: If your quilt is 60" wide, get a hanger that is
62"
"How they Work"
This type of Hanger is available in
shelf sizes
from 5" to 9" deep for displaying larger item.
These type of hangers use 2 pieces of wood compressed
together
by a system of T-Nuts, Threaded rod and Hardwood
knobs .
The Quilt is 'Clamped' between the front and back
pieces.
A binding groove is located on both inner (lower) edges
to hold
the Quilt Binding, thereby ensuring a uniform even hang.
This Binding groove eases the pressure required to hold
the quilt in place and it will also eliminate slippage.
On Quilt Hanger
48" or less it is hung by utilizing a keyhole hanger and locating orifice.
Units over 48" have a direct mount thru the face plate.
The quilt is secured to the hanger then the entire assembly is placed on the wall.
Your Quilt does not come in contact with the holding knobs
and will NOT put holes in you quilt.
No sleeves are necessary on your quilt.

assemble with only an x-tip screwdriver.
